Demi Lovato Is Sorry, Yet Not Sorry, Deep (VIDEO)

Demi Lovato got back at her haters through song. Sorry Not Sorry, the new single on her upcoming sixth album. She didn't write it, but trust that it's super personal.

Musicians have long been expressing resentment to abusive parents and brutal relationships and shitty times by way of song. Lovato's personal burden comes more in the form of a few people making fun of her fat legs on Twitter.

"Sorry Not Sorry' is a song to the haters that is basically saying, 'You know what? I'm good now. And sorry I'm not sorry that you may not be loving where your life is at the moment. A lot of people hear the song and they think it's about an ex-boyfriend or something like that, but it's actually just a song about the haters."

You figured ex-boyfriend or social media haters were the only two problems that would rise to the level of lead single. Quite a tiny adolescent rich girl bubble you've blown yourself into there.

The video for Sorry Not Sorry involves a crazy house party with Paris Hilton and Wiz Khalifa. Lovato explains the significance of the motif:

"I threw a house party a couple months ago, and it ended up being so random and so much fun, and we want to recreate that for the video."

It's hard not to remember a time when we used to laugh at stupid artists, versus every corporate umbrella media outlet equating Lovato's single, Sorry Not Sorry, to a Tom Joad soliloquy about the Depression Era Dust Bowl.

It's worth checking corporate filings to see if we've finally dwindled down to one single media company. They own the music, the bumbling bulimic singers, and the commentators. Trust that it's already in your streaming music playlist. Where will you run to get away from Demi Lovato? A library does seem like a decent idea.
